Nakorn Cafe Guest House

This Lao-Belgian-owned spot on the river a tad south of the main drag has the cleanest rooms in town, with private balconies, beautifully tiled interiors and luxurious rain showers. There's a second unit of rooms overlooking the Mekong a few doors down, with a two-level family room (US$70). Optional breakfast at the Nakorn Cafe is US$7 extra.
