Wat Phabaht

The modern Vietnamese–Lao temple of Wat Phabaht is fronted by a distinctive, if kitschy, array of spires. Behind is a shady Mekong-fronting terrace from which steps lead down to a gigantic holy footprint hidden beneath a turquoise shelter.
