Carpe Diem

Top choice in Laos

It's hard to envisage a more beautifully situated restaurant in all of Laos, as Carpe Diem is set in thatched pavilions dotted about the lower falls of Kuang Si. Plan on lunch without the crowds and enjoy whiling away the best part of a day in their natural pools. The menu is heavily French accented with frog's legs, filet de boeuf and filet mignon.

The signature dish is a shrimp ravioli and they even offer an original vegan steak made from quinoa, tofu and mushrooms. The kids menu for petits gourmets includes lighter priced dishes from 35,000K to 50,000K.
