Planch'Alizé

Réunion

This bustling little paillotte (beach restaurant) is noted for its reliable seafood as well as meat dishes, lavish salads and tempting desserts. It's also a fantastic spot for a drink any time of the day. Tapas are served after 5pm.

Arrive early to secure a table overlooking the beach. For a snack, call by the adjacent takeaway outlet, which turns out tasty sandwiches, salads and homemade desserts (from €3). Live bands sometimes play here on Friday from 6.30pm. Sun lounges, snorkelling gear, kayaks and paddleboards are available for hire.
