This expansive, verdant property sweeps down to the lake’s edge where gazelles and other wildlife roam. The rooms have a slightly dated style but they’re large and semi-luxurious and the whole place has a reliable lodge-style feel to it without a whole lot of inspiration. All rooms look out onto the lawns where hippos range at night; an escort is required in the evening.
