Busy, popular Maasai markets move around the city according to the day of the week and are excellent shopping experiences. Sites change regularly. At the time of research, markets were held every Tuesday at the Prestige Plaza on Ngong Rd, with other locations on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Wares include beaded jewellery, gourds, baskets and other Maasai crafts.
