St George’s Church Pilgrim House

Madaba

Although this guesthouse receives mainly Christian pilgrims, all travellers can expect a warm welcome here. Rooms are ascetically simple. If you encounter the patron, the urbane and charming Father Innocent (self-described as ‘Innocent by name, guilty by every other means’), your stay will be extra blessed. Guesthouse profits are invested in the neighbouring church school. Entry is via Prince Hassan St.
