In the leafy Jebel Lweibdeh area, the cosy B&B-style Canary feels a million miles from the chaos of downtown. The rooms are more comfortable than luxurious, though they're in need of a new paint job and fittings in places. There’s a pleasant garden area in front of the hotel.
