Educational Bookshop & Cafe

Top choice in East Jerusalem

The only English-language bookstore in East Jerusalem, the Educational Bookshop attracts journalists, aid workers, activists and intellectuals. There's a range of books and DVDs with a neutral or pro-Palestinian perspective on the Arab-Israeli conflict, and a good selection of novels, magazines and Palestinian music CDs. Linger in the tiny upstairs cafe for a tea, a sandwich or a chat.

Downstairs is a small space where book launches and talks are frequently held.

Across the street is a stationery shop and Arabic-language bookstore with the same name and owners.
