Cellar Bar

The bar at the legendary American Colony Hotel looks very Jerusalem with vaulted ceilings, stone floors and windowless walls, just like one of the Old City's chapels or crypts. The atmosphere, however, is lively, with a mix of journalists, international aid types, Palestinian and Arab businesspeople, wealthy foreign tourists and simply those interested in a stiff cocktail in a historical setting.
