Elegant cream-coloured rooms fill this refined hotel in a former YMCA building. Bathrooms would benefit from a spot of maintenance, and the breakfast buffet is a shadow of those in other hotels, but the cordial multilingual staff and chic, large rooms compensate. The rooftop terrace is an excellent place to watch the sun set as Jerusalem sparkles below.

Facilities include a 5th-floor restaurant with great views over the Old City, a lobby bar and a garden cafe. Guests are given free entry to the YMCA gym and indoor pool in the building next door.
