Palatin Hotel

Located near the hub of Jerusalem’s shopping and cafe district, homey, family-run Palatin has 33 small but reasonably comfortable rooms with writing desks and antique tiled floors (though the bathrooms aren't ageing gracefully). The friendly service and superb location almost compensate for the lack of soundproofing and the polyester sheets. There's no lift.
