If you're here on Shabbat, the hostel holds a dinner for up to 40 people (50NIS). You should also take advantage of the language exchange (Monday), enjoy happy hour (6pm to 8pm) at the bar, and sign up for an event or tour at the a travel desk in the lobby. These include Masada and Ein Gedi (280NIS to 316NIS), Hebron (290NIS), Nablus and Jenin (360NIS), and Ramallah, Bethlehem and Jericho (375NIS). Also, a Thursday afternoon tour of ultra-Orthodox neighbourhoods, 6pm yoga Monday to Wednesday and a hummus-making workshop at 7.30pm Sunday and Thursday.

Shared bathrooms have 24-hour hot water, but in private rooms there's a timer that takes 20 minutes to heat up.
