Matsue Horikawa Chi Beer Hall

Western Honshū

This attractive free-standing beer hall is not quite what its name promises; as its opening hours suggest, it's more of a restaurant than a drinking establishment. With local beers on tap, however, and an eclectic menu of yakiniku (grilled meat), soba and delicious set bentō boxes, it's a fun lunch option best enjoyed in a group.
