Cafe Chinois Jasmin

Western Honshū

Although little English is spoken, wonderful set lunches and course dinners, and picture menus of the moreish dim-sum selection, make this classy Cantonese cafe with a French-Japanese twist worth a visit. The main downside is that it's out of the way from the station and local attractions, south of the centre. Buses (¥210, 18 minutes) from outside Matsue Station come here.
