Fujisan Hotel

Mt Fuji

Fujisan Hotel is one of the most popular huts, thanks to its location at the Original 8th Station (at 3400m, where the Yoshida and Subashiri trails meet): from here it's only a short push (two hours) onwards to the summit. English-speaking staff are usually present; credit cards accepted.

Reservations required; bookings open from 1 April.
