Lamp no Yado

Top choice in Kanazawa & the Hokuriku Coast

Remote Lamp no Yado is a place all its own: a 13-room wooden village beneath a cliff (busy with tour buses, a snack hall and a vast asphalt parking lot). The cape's beach has been a destination for peace-seeking travellers for centuries; there's been an inn here since the 1970s. Rooms are decadent, and some have private rotemburo (outdoor bath).

This is a romantic destination ryokan.
