Tsurugi-san Chōjō Hutte

Shikoku

Just below the peak, Tsurugi-san Chōjō Hutte offers basic lodgings. It's simple, as you'd expect at a mountain hut, but the food tastes great at 1955m, the bath is claimed to be the highest ofuro in western Japan and you'll sleep well as 'lights out' is at 9pm. Best of all, it's not far to go for a mountaintop sunrise.
