Roof Top Bar & Terrace G

Shinjuku & Northwest Tokyo

The drinks and decor here are totally average, but we're a sucker for an open-air rooftop bar – not as common as you'd think in Tokyo, where the night views are always divine (even if, in this case, it's partly of the gentrifying red-light district). Beer is ¥500 during happy hour (5pm to 7pm); otherwise drinks start at ¥800. There's a ¥500 cover charge.

The bar is inside Shinjuku Granbell Hotel and the cover charge is waived for hotel guests.
