Peak Bar & Lounge

Shinjuku & Northwest Tokyo

Peak Bar has just slightly less soaring views than the New York Bar above it and a generous (by Park Hyatt standards) deal: three-hours ('Twilight Time'; 5pm to 8pm) all-you-can-drink plus unlimited canapés for ¥5280 (plus 15% service charge). It's one of the city's best known 'secrets'; come early, as reservations aren't accepted. Otherwise cocktails cost ¥2420. DJs spin Wednesday through Saturday from 6pm.

Alternatively, the Peak Lounge (less moody but filling up the atrium) has its 'Peak of Joy' special: two-hours of eating and drinking, with more substantial food, anytime between 5pm and 9pm for ¥5300 (plus tax and 15% service charge); reservations accepted. See the website for other specials and promotions. Dress code enforced.
