Kadoya Hotel

Shinjuku & Northwest Tokyo

This long-running independent hotel, located among the restaurants and bars of Nishi-Shinjuku (a five-minute walk from Shinjuku Station), offers great value for the price. It can't compete with the flashier new chains on decor, but it gets points for its welcoming service (staff speak English) and for having comfortable, queen-sized beds in its double rooms.
