Bongen Coffee

Ginza & Tsukiji

Down a side street of Higashi-Ginza is this tiny third-wave coffee shop serving single-estate brews with side orders of onigiri (Japanese rice balls) or sandwiches of raisins and cream. An elegant traditional Japanese design pervades with warm woods and a spotlit bonsai tree behind the espresso machine.

Bonus points for the lactose intolerant as it has soy milk.
