Named after the area's celebrity mollusc, this lovely campground and guesthouse offers an inexpensive overnight on the outskirts of Shari. It is quite strict about the rules; for example, no bathing happens after 10pm. Bungalows are simple and (unless you reserve a heater) unheated. But the onsen is toasty and the common areas inviting.
