Squat and concrete, family-run Denyō doesn't look like much but delivers on dinner, which features fresh local specialities such as ise-ebi (spiny lobster), oysters, sashimi and abalone (depending on season). Some of the simple tatami rooms have private toilets; all share the hot-spring-fed baths.
Very little English is spoken, but some written information in English is provided to guests. You'll want a car to get here.
