Kayōtei

This opulent ryokan along the scenic Kakusenkei Gorge has only 10 rooms, centred on a delicate garden courtyard. Some rooms have views over the gorge and a beautiful hidden waterfall. Kitchen staff forage wild herbs from the mountains for meals, and wild boar are sometimes visible from private rotemburo (outdoor baths).
