Yamamotoya Sōhonke Honke

This is the place to go to for soupy miso-nikomi udon – the chain, which began here, has been doing it since 1925. From Yaba-chō station, take exit 6, turn left, cross Otsu-dōri and walk two blocks down Shirakawa-dōri. It's on your right and has a large white sign with black Japanese writing.
