This massive older hotel on the eastern side of Hakuba Station has sensational views over the Hakuba range and a great indoor-outdoor onsen, but it's away from the action. In winter there's a free shuttle bus to the main resorts, each about 20 minutes' drive away. All rooms have wi-fi: not so common in the hills.
