Kaya Herb House

Top choice in Ocho Rios, Port Antonio & the North Coast

When super-stylish Kaya opened its doors in 2018, it became the first legal marijuana dispensary in the Caribbean. Equal parts clinic and hipster boutique, to enter you'll need ID (over-18s only) and you must complete a self-certified medical certificate. Inside, ganja buds and liquid for e-cigarettes are offered from a list of 30 medical strains.

Knowledgeable staff can talk you through the extensive wine-list-style menu, according to THC and CBD content, as well your own medical needs. There is a smoking room and dab bar, and Skype consultations are available for medical conditions. Kaya also has a thatched bar and cafe, with great coffee, pizzas and zingy fruit juices. It runs its own ganja plantations, and farm tours are planned for the future. All purchases must be made in cash, but there is an on-site ATM.
