This series of villas and cottages is ever popular. The cottages (which can sleep four to six) all have views to the hills and sea (there's a private cove with pebble beach), some come with whirlpool baths and all have eclectic wood decor – 'To Di World' and 'Bolt and Lightning' are our favorites. The surrounding land is lovely to trek through.
Meals are available at the Strawberry Patch restaurant, and budget travelers can pitch their own tents – a nod to the resort's origins as a 1970s backpacker haven. It's a popular weekend break – book ahead.
