Master of metals, Andrea d’Agostino takes his influence from the Japanese technique of mokume gane (meaning ‘metal with woodgrain’), masterful examples of which are on display in the Asian gallery of Ca’ Pesaro. The result is rings, pendants and bracelets with swirling multicoloured patterns that seem to capture the dappled lagoon waters for all time in silver and gold.
