Osteria del Buchetto

Umbria

This modest osteria is at its best on warm summer evenings when you can sit outside and bask in romantic views over the valley towards Assisi. Its food is genuine and proudly local, and lingering is positively encouraged. Perhaps start with baked pecorino cheese and ham before progressing onto tagliatelle with black truffles or an expertly grilled steak.

To drink, there's wine from a local Umbrian winery and a decent selection of regional craft beers.
