La Residenza dei Cappuccini

Umbria

At the top of the village, this gem of an affittacamere (room rental) plays up the historic charm with its stepped entrance of exposed stone and beams. Its three rooms all come with kitchenettes and a DIY breakfast basket. Additional apartments are found in two other annexes around town.

One of the loveliest choices is the room called Saio, which has stone walls and a working fireplace. Of the apartments, the Appartamento Espartero stands out thanks to its garden. If you fancy a hack in the hills, the owners can arrange for you to go horse riding.
