One of Macerata's best-known restaurants, Da Secondo is a welcoming spot for regional maceratese specialities like vincisgrassi (the local version of lasagna) and frittura mista (fried veggies, beef-stuffed olives and other goodies). Alternatively, you can go for something completely different, perhaps a chicken curry or veal with tuna sauce.
