A fat, well-stuffed panino, perhaps with tangy pecorino cheese or sweet prosciutto crudo (Parma ham), makes for a handy, on-the-hoof lunch. This small food shop near the basilica in Santa Maria degli Angeli prepares them on the spot, as well as serving cheese and cured-meats platters and selling Umbrian wines, olive oils, conserves and pastas.
Note, however, that as it's a shop it shuts between 1pm and 4pm.
