Boutique del Tartufo

Volterra

Stefania Socchi's husband Daniele is a professional truffle hunter, and sources the tasty fungi that are used to produce the products sold in this shop near Piazza dei Priori. Purchase whole truffles or opt for honey, polenta, pasta, oil or pastes made or infused with them. You can also order a panino made with truffle paste or truffle-infused cheese (€6).

Email to enquire about the possibility of going on a truffle hunt with Daniele and his dog – this is sometimes on offer.

There's another branch in Vicolo Ormanni, off Piazza XX Settembre.
