When the urge for a swift bowl of pasta strikes, hit this stylish spaghetteria on one of Pisa's buzziest squares. A riot of faux flowers, strung on red and white ladders, decorate the low ceiling and the menu only features primi (first courses) – pasta primi to be precise, all fresh and handmade. The taglioni with black truffle shavings is spot on.
The lunchtime 'Giro Pasta' menu (€20; minimum two people), comprising a choice of four pasta primi, dessert, water and a glass of house wine, is good-value.
