For nearly half a century, this family-run restaurant in a revamped 17th-century farmhouse has been keeping ancient Ladin culinary traditions alive. Fana Ladina offers a rare opportunity to sample traditional specialities such as feies da soni (a kind of potato pancake served with blueberries or sauerkraut), ravioli with poppy seeds, or venison tartare with mushrooms.
Look for it in the centre of in San Vigilio di Marebbe, about 5km east of Val Badia in the lateral Val di Mareo.
