Verona's HI youth hostel occupies a 16th-century villa on a garden estate a 20-minute walk from the city centre. Rooms are off-limits from 9am to 5pm, and dinners require a reservation. Catch bus 73 (weekdays, and Saturdays until 7pm) or bus 91 (Saturdays after 7pm, Sundays and public holidays) from the train station. There's a strict midnight curfew and credit-card payments are not accepted.
