Tucked away on Via Cipro, where Cypriot wine was once sold, this traditional tavern offers a warm welcome in its cosy, wood-panelled interior. While service can be slow – relax! – the food is worth the wait: plates come laden with polenta and Schiz cheese, delicate trout scooped out of mountain rivers and blueberry pappardelle with wild-boar ragù.
