Pandenus

Milan

Originally a bakery, Pandenus was named after the walnut bread that used to emerge from its (still active) oven. Now the focaccia, pizzetta and bruschetta on its aperitivo bar are some of the best in town. Given its proximity to the Marconi Foundation (which is dedicated to contemporary art), expect a good-looking, arty crowd. Other branches are dotted around town.
