La Vita è Bella

For something a little different, head to this congenial, easy-going spot near Como's waterfront. Famed far and wide for bountiful, creatively topped salads, La Vita also serves up good pastas, grilled meats and seafood, and a fine paella. The small space (and glassed-in terrace in front) fills up nightly, so it's best to reserve a table in advance.
