Clocking up 100 years of service in 2019, all of them under the same family tutelage, Silvio continues to serve simple lake-to-table food at reasonable prices with lovely views over the water. You might start with a riso e filetto di pesce (rice with lemon juice and Parmesan, topped by fish fillets), followed by a frittura leggera di luccio (fry-up of pike chunks).
From the pergola garden outside, you can also espy the Romanesque Chiesa di Santa Maria of Loppia in among the cypresses. It's 1km south of the centre of Bellagio above Loppia, which you can walk down to from here along an overgrown stairway.
