The hand-painted ceramics of Dutch-born, Ortygia-based artist Caroline van Riet burst with childlike joy. Cheerful, storybook-like creatures, sunny island scenes and hearts adorn a range that includes mugs, espresso and egg cups, bowls, plates and saucers. Mingling among them are uplifting, hand-painted lampshades, graphic tees, and even the odd notebook made from upcycled paper.
