Isolated high in the hills 11km north of Petralia Sottana, this wood-panelled 1970s-vintage hotel has definitely seen better days. Rooms are adequate rather than luxurious, but almost all have winning views. The restaurant (meals around €30) offers a menu based on ingredients gathered from the surrounding mountainsides, including wild mushrooms, fennel and asparagus, along with homemade pastas and sausages.
