Just below Petralia Soprana's main square, this family-run venture may look rather sterile at first glance, but step inside to discover well-prepared, reasonably priced mountain treats like wild-mushroom risotto, goat stew, or mixed grills of veal, pork and mutton. Upstairs, Bar Lombardo makes the best granite (Italian ices) in town, using locally harvested figs, lemons, mulberries and pomegranates.
