Run by Tuscan-Sicilian couple Anna and Francesco, this irresistible enoteca is a gorgeous spot to quaff Marsala wines with locally sourced salumi (cold cuts), panini with burrata (cheese made from mozzarella and cream), anchovies and other snacks. The icing on the cake is the beautiful summertime terrace on a cobbled fountain-pierced square overlooking the showy baroque facade of 18th-century Chiesa del Purgatorio.

Wine aficionados keen to learn more about Marsala wine should book a spot on one of Francesco's tastings: three or five wines with tapas dishes, or a trio of Marsala Riserva wines with a trio of chocolate.
