At lunchtime, locals pour into this downtown tavola calda (cafeteria) with abundant outdoor seating on a central Lampedusa square. The reasonably priced offerings include arancini (rice balls stuffed with everything from shrimp to prosciutto and mozzarella), panini, pizza slices and delicious primi (first courses) such as pasta with swordfish and eggplant or grouper-stuffed ravioli with Sicilian pesto.
