Pure paradise for meat lovers, this highly recommended Sicilian grill cooks up top-quality cuts from the adjoining butcher's shop. Be it Tuscan Chianina beef, marinated chicken wings, unbelievably tender pork ribs or one of 14 types of homemade burger, everything is cooked to perfection over the wood-fired grill in the part-open kitchen. Much of the produce is fresh from the butcher's own farm near Segesta.
Tripe and tagliata (thin slices of meat) are also to die for, served – like all dishes – with paprika-spiced patatine (fried potatoes), grilled veg or mixed salad.
