Trattoria Lo Romanì

Many Alghero restaurants serve porcetto, Sardinia's classic spit-roasted pork, but few places cook it to such buttery perfection. The crackling is spot on and the meat is sweet and packed with flavour. Porcetto apart, it's a delightful trattoria. Exposed sandstone walls and soft lighting create a warm, elegant atmosphere, service is attentive and the fresh island food is terrific.
