Monti, Esquilino & San Lorenzo

Secreted in the Esedra Arcade near Piazza della Repubblica, this cafe has retained its original 1960s decor, including murals – you'll feel like you're entering a time warp when enjoying a coffee and one of the Sicilian-style treats (cannoli, cassatas etc) displayed in the long display case. The gelato here is also good.
